Barcelona skirt #2…
, so
I just finished my second Barcelona skirt ( did I tell you how easy peasy they are??) I made it this time in Coriander print in pine, with the lower tier in Kashmir print–I love this one, too! I normally use invisible zippers, but didn’t have one on hand so I used a center application zipper at the back, I forgot how easy they were, too. I just like the look - or no look of the invisible zippers much better.
The key to putting zippers in is the basting, don’t skip this step-it’s worth the extra time and hassle. I also use a glue stick to set the zipper in for the basting, it keeps the zipper from sliding around.

These were the prints I made my first skirt…love it!!! Lacework and Seeds print also from Amy butler.
This is Minnie, the best dog in the whole world. I took the funniest picture of her the other day, as I snapped the camera she yawned and ended up with such a cute smile!!! She loves to sit next to me while I sew! And have you noticed how she loves to pose for the camera????
I just have to show you her winter coat, it has her name embroidered on it with a circle of daisies. She loves to eat snow. She thinks its a huge snowcone just for her.
